Unitised curtain walling is manufactured as complete glazed panels in factory conditions, then delivered and craned directly onto pre-fixed brackets. Quality is controlled in the factory, weather sealing is engineered into the panel joints, and site programme times drop dramatically.
For taller buildings and projects where scaffold access is difficult or expensive, unitised systems are usually the right answer — panels install from inside the floor plate using mini-cranes or monorails.
